Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi jet off to New York and meet NBA star Kevin Durant
On Monday, Paris Saint-Germain teammates Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi attended an NBA game in New York.
The Brooklyn Nets won their 12th consecutive game with a score of 139-103 against the San Antonio Spurs, the longest winning streak in the NBA this season.
Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant excelled for the Nets, scoring 27 points and 8 rebounds, and 25 points and 11 assists, respectively. Mbappe and Hakimi had the chance to meet with Irving and Durant after the game, even trading jerseys.
Despite their World Cup heartaches, Mbappe and Hakimi seemed to be in good spirits as they were given VIP treatment at the game, including access to the locker room for the post-game debrief with head coach Jacque Vaughn.
Mbappe and Hakimi have played together for PSG since the World Cup ended, with Mbappe scoring a winning goal in a recent Ligue 1 victory.
Their team’s next match is a Coupe de France game against LB Chateauroux on January 6, and coach Christophe Galtier may choose to give some players rest.
