Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich scored a 90th-minute equalizer to secure a 1-1 draw against Cologne on Tuesday, maintaining a four-point lead at the top of the league.

The German champions, who are seeking their 11th league title, had possession but were less effective than their opponents, who looked set to win with Ellyes Skhiri’s 4th-minute goal.

Kimmich’s long-range effort lifted Bayern to 36 points. RB Leipzig is in second place with 32 points, and Eintracht Frankfurt is in third with 30 points. They will play Freiburg on Wednesday.

Despite Bayern’s dominance in the second half, they were unable to score until the very end, when Kimmich’s shot went in off the bar.
