Simeone Strike Seals the Win for Napoli
Napoli beat Roma in a tough match to increase their lead at the top of the table to 13 points.
The win was secured by a stunning goal from Victor Osimhen and a late score from Giovanni Simeone, who came off the bench.
Napoli had a full squad to choose from, with Kvicha Kvaratskhelia back from illness.
Zaniolo and Karsdorp were left out after requesting transfers, while Celik was suspended and Wijnaldum was injured.
Kvaratskhelia had an early shot that was saved by Rui Patricio. Kim Min-jae nearly scored an own goal, but his header hit the post.
Osimhen scored a fantastic goal with a chest control, knee juggle, and right-footed volley. Dybala and El Shaarawy had chances for Roma but were unable to score.
Napoli took the lead, but Roma equalized with a goal from El Shaarawy.
However, Napoli regained the lead with a goal from Simeone, who turned and shot into the near top corner from inside the box. Raspadori almost added a third for Napoli, but his shot was saved by Rui Patricio.
