The match, which had been largely uneventful, witnessed a moment of brilliance as Amine Gouiri embarked on a daring solo run before expertly slotting the ball into the net, twelve minutes prior to the halftime whistle.
Ramos, brought on to replace the underperforming Kylian Mbappe, found himself at the center of controversy when he was adjudged to have been fouled in the penalty area by Guela Doue in the 84th minute.
However, the referee reversed his decision after initially awarding a penalty and instead cautioned the Portuguese forward.
Just moments later, Ramos was once again involved in penalty drama as he was tripped by goalkeeper Steve Mandanda’s outstretched leg.
Initially dismissing PSG’s appeals, the referee eventually overturned his decision upon reviewing the incident on video.
With virtually the last action of the game, Ramos calmly dispatched the spot-kick, sending Mandanda the wrong way and securing a vital point for his team.
