Greaves, who played for Tottenham from 1961-1970, scored 266 goals for the club.
However, Kane has now set a new record by scoring more goals than any other player in the club’s history in just 416 appearances, averaging a goal almost every 1.5 games.
The England captain has received praise for this incredible achievement, with former Tottenham striker Gary Lineker calling it a “remarkable feat.”
