Havertz header sees Chelsea overcome Crystal Palace

The Chelsea manager, Graham Potter, finally found relief as his team secured a second win in ten league games with a second half header from Kai Havertz.

Despite Crystal Palace’s own struggles, Chelsea’s defense was desperate in the final minutes of the game, but they were able to hold on for the win.

Chelsea also completed the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk for £88.5 million and introduced him to the crowd at halftime.

Potter made several changes to the lineup, including replacing the injured Joao Felix and Denis Zakaria.

The game was disjointed at times and Chelsea struggled to score, but Havertz’s header ultimately secured the win for the team.
