Hamari Traore on target as Les Rennais triumph over the Ligue 1 leaders
Paris St Germain (PSG) lost 1-0 to Stade Rennais on Sunday, marking their second defeat of the season and reducing their Ligue 1 lead to just three points.
The game’s only goal was scored by Hamari Traore in the 65th minute. PSG captain Marquinhos said after the game, “Two defeats in the new year, we need to be more aggressive and solid.”
Despite the win, Rennes slipped to fifth place on 37 points, behind Monaco on goal difference.
