Arsenal beat Oxford to set up clash with Man City in FA Cup fourth round

The match between Arsenal and Oxford United took place on Monday night.

Oxford put up a strong fight in the first half, but Arsenal emerged victorious with a final score of 3-0.

Goals from Mohamed Elneny and Eddie Nketiah secured the win for Arsenal.

Elneny’s goal, a bullet header from a Fabio Vieira free kick, was his first for the club since May 2021. Nketiah also scored twice, with his first goal coming from another assist by Vieira.

This win earns Arsenal a fourth round matchup with Manchester City in the FA Cup.

Arsenal has now won their last 14 FA Cup ties against teams from outside the top two divisions of English football.

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, praised Nketiah for his contributions and goals.
