Video: Kylian Mbappé is the first player in PSG’s history to score 5 goals in one match
Kylian Mbappe became the first Paris Saint-Germain player to score five times in one match as they defeated amateur team Pays de Cassel 7-0 in the French Cup.
Mbappe scored a first half hat-trick and added two more goals after halftime, with Neymar and Carlos Soler also scoring for PSG.
The team will now face rival Marseille in the last 16 of the tournament next month.
This match takes place the week before PSG’s Champions League last-16 tie against Bayern Munich.
Mbappe was given the captain’s armband for the game, with Neymar starting but Lionel Messi being rested.
Pays de Cassel is a small team from the north of France, who had a remarkable run to reach this stage of the tournament.
