Spurs beat Preston in FA Cup fourth round
Heung-Min Son’s two goals and Arnaut Danjuma’s debut goal crushed Preston’s hopes of an upset in the FA Cup, leading Tottenham to the fifth round.
Despite Harry Kane being left on the bench, Son’s second half double secured the victory.
Son’s first goal was a 30 yard screamer, followed by a skillful turn and shot in the penalty area.
Son, who was made captain in the absence of Hugo Lloris and Kane, had a strong game and increased his season’s goal tally to eight.
Danjuma, recently loaned to Spurs from Villareal, came on as a substitute to score the third goal.
Tottenham dominated the game from start to finish and Preston were unable to mount a comeback or get a shot on target.
