Poland have qualified for the 2024 European championships
Poland have qualified for the 2024 European championships after beating Wales in penalties.
Poland thwarted Wales’ bid for a third consecutive European Championship appearance through a penalty shootout, following a tense goalless stalemate in Cardiff on Tuesday.
Dan James, the winger from Leeds, found himself as the lone individual unable to convert in the penalty exchange, while Poland’s flawless execution secured their position alongside France, the Netherlands, and Austria in Group D for Euro 2024.
