Man City cruise to victory ahead of Arsenal showdown
Manchester City, who were recently charged with over 100 financial offenses by the Premier League, closed the gap on Arsenal to just three points with a dominant performance on and off the pitch.
The fans cheered their manager, Pep Guardiola, and displayed banners protesting the investigation, while City secured a 3-1 victory over Aston Villa, with goals from Rodri, Ilkay Gundogan, and Riyad Mahrez.
Although Villa improved in the second half and scored a goal through Ollie Watkins, they were unable to catch up to City. City will face Arsenal in their next game at the Emirates Stadium.
