Liverpool suffered a second successive defeat in the English Premier League against Brighton
Liverpool suffered a 3-0 defeat to Brighton on Saturday, marking the team’s sixth loss of the Premier League season and their first defeat to Brighton in 60 years.
Brighton dominated the game with goals from Solly March and Danny Welbeck.
This is Liverpool’s second consecutive loss after losing 3-1 to Brentford last weekend, and they have lost six of their Premier League games this season.
Five of those losses were away games and the other was at home against Leeds United. Liverpool is now ranked below Brighton in the eighth place, and they are 16 points behind the league leaders, Arsenal.
Brighton has not defeated Liverpool at home in 60 years and they are currently enjoying a successful season under Roberto De Zerbi.
