Liverpool beats Everton, Gakpo gets his first Reds goal

Premier League: Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo scored his first goal for the club, helping them end a poor run with a 2-0 win against city rivals Everton in the Premier League.

Mohamed Salah scored first, and Gakpo added another early in the second half.

Liverpool’s victory lifted them to ninth in the table, while Everton remained in 18th place, one point off the safety zone.
