However, the match turned dramatic in stoppage time when a VAR review confirmed a handball by Germany’s Robin Koch, leading to a penalty for Hungary.
Dominik Szoboszlai, the Hungarian captain and Liverpool midfielder, took the penalty. He executed a cheeky Panenka, chipping the ball into the center of the goal and deceiving Germany’s goalkeeper Alexander Nübel.
