Timothy Weah and Christian Pulisic each found the back of the net as the United States secured a 3-0 victory over Uzbekistan during their international friendly clash at CityPark in St. Louis, Missouri.
The dynamic wingers, representing Juventus and Milan respectively, played pivotal roles in the triumph of the US Men’s National Team (USMNT).
Weah kick-started the scoring with a thunderous right-footed strike into the far corner, just four minutes into the game. His Juventus comrade, Weston McKennie, provided the crucial assist for the opening goal. Meanwhile, Pulisic sealed the win with a well-executed penalty kick in the 95th minute.
Weah’s tally for his national team now stands at four goals in 31 appearances, whereas Pulisic boasts an impressive record of 25 goals in 60 appearances for the USMNT.
