GOAL | Brighton 1-0 Liverpool | Adingra
In the Premier League clash at the Amex Stadium on Saturday, Brighton secured a 2-2 draw against Liverpool thanks to a late equalizer by Lewis Dunk.
In the first half, winger Simon Adingra capitalized on an error by Alisson, the visiting team’s goalkeeper, to put the Seagulls in the lead.
However, the game took a dramatic turn just before halftime. Mohamed Salah scored to level the match after an assist from Harvey Elliott.
Salah then converted a penalty, awarded after Pascal Gross fouled Dominik Szoboszlai, to put Jürgen Klopp’s side ahead.
Ryan Gravenberch had a crucial opportunity to seal the victory for Brighton but hit the crossbar when it seemed like a sure goal. Nevertheless, Brighton had the final say in the match, with Lewis Dunk volleying in a goal 12 minutes before the final whistle, ensuring that Brighton remained in sixth place in the league standings.
