In the past, Frankfurt had knocked out Napoli in the Europa League last 16, resulting in Luciano Spalletti’s team’s eagerness to take revenge.

Frankfurt enters the game with a 2-0 victory over Werder Bremen, and they will rely on Kolo Muani, who impressed at the 2022 World Cup finals. However, Dina Ebimbe, Rode, and Wenig will miss out due to injuries.

Meanwhile, Napoli won against Sassuolo away, taking them a step closer to winning their first Scudetto since 1990. The two teams appear to be evenly matched, and a draw could be a valuable bet.

Luciano Spalletti is expected to have a full squad except for Giacomo Raspadori to choose from.

Team News:

Oliver Glasner’s team secured a victory against Werder during the weekend, but he might introduce a few alterations for the upcoming Tuesday game. Fortunately, Frankfurt has an almost full squad at their disposal, with the exception of Eric Dina Ebimbe, who remains sidelined with an ankle issue.

Hrvoje Smolcic and Aurelio Buta are expected to be included in the lineup against Napoli. However, Smolcic is among three players who could face suspension in the second leg if they receive a booking, alongside Kristijan Jakic and Makoto Hasebe.

Randal Kolo Muani will once again lead the line, having scored in both of his previous Champions League matches, as well as providing ten goals and ten assists in his debut Bundesliga season.

Napoli also possesses a well-stocked team, and any concerns over Victor Osimhen’s fitness were dismissed by Luciano Spalletti after the striker limped off in Friday’s win at Sassuolo.

Giacomo Raspadori’s muscular injury rules him out, but Hirving Lozano and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia should flank Osimhen, with the latter offering a significant threat from the left after scoring and providing an assist in two separate Group A games.

In midfield, Piotr Zielinski will most likely replace Eljif Elmas, and there is competition between Mario Rui and Mathias Olivera for the left-back position.
