Coman scores winner as FC Bayern edge PSG in Paris

In the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday, Bayern Munich defeated Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 with Kingsley Coman scoring the only goal of the game.

Kylian Mbappe, who returned from injury and came on as a substitute, had a late equalizer disallowed by VAR due to a marginal offside call.

Coman scored the goal eight minutes into the second half, just as Mbappe was about to enter the game.

PSG struggled without their top scorer, but they improved in the latter stages with Mbappe on the field, requiring a couple of fine saves by Gianluigi Donnarumma to prevent a bigger deficit.

Bayern ended the game with 10 men after Benjamin Pavard was sent off, but it was still a frustrating ending for PSG.
