British Teams Face Big Tests in Europa League Last 16 Draw

The draw for the Europa League last 16 has taken place, with English clubs Liverpool, West Ham, and Brighton learning their fate.

Six-time European champions Liverpool face a potentially tricky tie against Sparta Prague, while Brighton will test their mettle against Serie A giants Roma. West Ham, last year’s Europa Conference League champions, have a familiar foe in Bundesliga side Freiburg, whom they beat twice in the group stage.

Scottish champions Rangers complete the British contingent and will take on Portuguese champions Benfica. All four British teams were group winners and will play the second leg at home.
