Barcelona reach Copa del Rey semi-finals after see off Real Sociedad

Barcelona advanced to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey with a hard-fought victory over Real Sociedad, thanks to a goal from Ousmane Dembele.

The match was made more difficult for Sociedad when Brais Mendez was sent off after a VAR check in the first half.

Dembele, who was almost sold by the club last January, scored the decisive goal in the 52nd minute and received a standing ovation when he was substituted.

Meanwhile, in another dramatic cup match, Osasuna defeated Sevilla 2-1 in extra time to also reach the semi-finals.
