Barcelona move eight points clear in La Liga title

Barcelona secured a win over Sevilla and extended their lead to 8 points at the top of La Liga.

The second-half was decisive with Jordi Alba scoring the opening goal in the 58th minute.

The lead was then doubled by Gavi who tapped in Raphinha’s cross.

The match was rounded off by Raphinha who poked in Alba’s cross.

Sevilla’s defeat puts them 16th, two points above the relegation zone.

On the same day, title contenders Real Madrid failed to close the gap with Barcelona, losing 1-0 to Mallorca.
