Arsenal agree personal terms with Leandro Trossard

Arsenal is in negotiations to acquire Leandro Trossard from Brighton. The club is seeking a new wide forward to strengthen their title chances and Trossard has become a top target.

Trossard, who is also being pursued by Tottenham, wishes to leave Brighton due to feeling “humiliated” by manager Roberto De Zerbi, according to his agent.

Trossard was excluded from Brighton’s squad in their recent win against Liverpool due to his attitude, and he is in the final months of his contract at the Amex Stadium.

This move comes after Arsenal’s failed attempt to sign Mykhailo Mudryk, who was instead acquired by Chelsea in a £88.5 million deal.

Trossard has performed well for Brighton this season, scoring 7 Premier League goals, including a hat-trick against Liverpool at Anfield.

His last game for Brighton was against Arsenal on New Year’s Eve in which Arsenal won 4-2 at the Amex Stadium.
