Just when you thought the game was winding down, Joao Pedro produces a moment of pure magic in the 90th minute!
He’s just scored an incredible overhead kick (bicycle kick) to finally put Chelsea on the scoresheet. It was an acrobatic masterpiece that left the keeper with no chance.

Chelsea thought they had finally found a lifeline in the 74th minute, but their celebrations were cut short. After a quick VAR review for a possible offside in the buildup, the goal has been overturned.
It’s just not Chelsea’s day. Every time they try to get back into the match, luck seems to go against them.
If Chelsea fans thought the second half would bring a comeback, they were mistaken. Nottingham Forest have just added a third.

In the 52nd minute, Forest put together a brilliantly organized team move, carving through the Chelsea midfield with ease. The ball eventually found Taiwo Awoniyi, who made no mistake, slotting it home for his second of the afternoon.
At 0-3, Forest are absolutely cruising. Chelsea look shell-shocked, and the “organized” nature of that third goal really highlights the tactical gap between the two sides today.
🔢 Match Update:
52′ ⚽ GOAL! Taiwo Awoniyi finishes off a clinical team move.

Well, that was definitely not in the script for Chelsea. A disastrous first half for the Blues as Nottingham Forest lead 2-0, and honestly, Forest fully deserve it for being so clinical.
The game got turned on its head almost immediately when Taiwo Awoniyi stunned the crowd with a goal in just the 2nd minute. Before Chelsea could even settle, Igor Jesus doubled the lead at the 15-minute mark, leaving the home defense looking completely disorganized.
The biggest talking point, however, came right before the whistle. After a lengthy VAR delay in the 10th minute of stoppage time, Chelsea were handed a lifeline via the penalty spot. But in a shock twist, Cole Palmer—who is usually ice-cold in these moments—sent his effort wide.

The Verdict: Forest are in total control, playing with massive confidence. Chelsea have the possession, but without that clinical edge, it’s going to be a very long afternoon for them.
📉 Quick Stats:
- Early Shock: Awoniyi (2′)
- Double Trouble: Igor Jesus (15′)
- Heartbreak: Palmer penalty miss (45+10′)
