Pedri on target to earn Barcelona win over Getafe

Barcelona extended their winning streak and increased their lead over Real Madrid in the Spanish league on Sunday by defeating Getafe 1-0.

Pedri scored the first-half winner for the Catalan club, opening a six-point gap ahead of Madrid’s game at Athletic Bilbao later that day.

Despite playing without suspended striker Robert Lewandowski and forward Ferran Torres, Barcelona was able to secure the victory.

Getafe, on the other hand, has lost four in a row and sits in 16th place just outside the relegation zone.
