Barcelona three points clear after win at Atletico
Barcelona defeated Atletico Madrid 1-0 at the Estadio Metropolitano on Sunday, thanks to a goal from Ousmane Dembele.
The match-winner was scored in the 22nd minute after a pass from Pedri and Gavi, putting Barcelona ahead.
Atletico attempted to come back in the game, with Jose Maria Gimenez nearly scoring a header and Antoine Griezmann forcing a save from Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Griezmann also missed a chance in the second half, and Dembele had two opportunities to seal the victory for Barcelona. In the 92nd minute, Ferran Torres and Stefan Savic were both given red cards, leaving both teams with ten players.
Ronald Araujo made a goal-line clearance in stoppage time to help Barcelona secure the win and move three points clear at the top of LaLiga.
