Manchester United launch FA Cup campaign with Everton win
Manchester United secured a narrow victory over Everton in the FA Cup third round after goals from Conor Coady and Marcus Rashford.
The match featured a fortunate VAR moment for United, as Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s second goal was ruled out for offside after 73 minutes.
Coady scored his second goal of the evening in the opening minutes of the second half, when Rashford’s cross was turned into his own net by Coady.
